2008 Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY.  This sweepstakes is open to Minnesota residents, 18 years of age or older as of the day upon which they enter.  Void outside the U.S. and where prohibited.

Sweepstakes begins Tuesday, August 26, 2008, and ends Friday, December 2, 2008, at 11:59:59 PM (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Eligibility: To enter the Search for Minnesota’s Favorite Fan, you must be at least 21 years old on the date of entry AND a Minnesota resident.  VOID outside the U.S., and where prohibited. Employees of Border Foods Companies and Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC, or their affiliates, parent companies, promotion marketing agencies, their participating vendors, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, any contractors working directly on this promotion and the immediate family members or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. 

To Enter and participate in the Sweepstakes:  Fans can enter the Search for Minnesota’s Favorite Fan by visiting Contests and Promos section at cravingstogo.com and filling out the appropriate on-line registration form.  Upon submitting the on-line registration form, you will be entered in the sweepstakes.  You will receive an e-mail notification confirming your entry.  All entries must be received between August 26, 2008 and December 2, 2008 (“Entry Period”).

All entries become the sole property of the SPONSOR, as defined below, and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned.  Winners will be notified on or prior to December 6, 2008.  SPONSOR is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, invalid, or unintelligible entries, which will be disqualified.  No facsimiles, mechanical reproductions, alterations or forged entries are permitted. 

Game Prize

8 Finalists will be selected during the 2008 Season

Each finalist will receive two (2) Tickets to Vikings home game and two (2) VIP Sideline Passes, a trip for (2) to a Vikings Road Game including tickets, roundtrip transportation and hotel accommodations and an Authentic Vikings “Favorite Fan” Jersey.  Finalists will be selected on the following dates and receive tickets and trip to the specified games.

Finalists will be encouraged to submit a photo of themselves as Minnesota’s Favorite Fan.  Photos will be posted on cravingstogo.com beginning January 1, 2009 through January 31, 2009.  Fans will be able to select their favorite fan via an online vote.  The on-line vote will begin January 1, 2009 and end January 31, 2009 (“Voting Period”).  The finalist receiving the most votes during the Voting Period will be named “Minnesota’s Favorite Fan”.  Minnesota’s Favorite Fan will receive two (2) tickets to each of the Minnesota Vikings ten (10) 2009 pre and regular season home games.  Minnesota’s Favorite Fan will also receive a one (1) year’s supply of Pizza Hut pizza awarded as fifty-two (52) certificates each redeemable for one (1) large Pizza Hut pizza. 

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the prizes being awarded: $15,000

By participating, entrants agree the decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received for each drawing. No prize or cash substitutes, transfer, or assignment of prizes permitted, except a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted at Border Foods/Minnesota Vikings discretion. 

All other expenses are the responsibility of the winner and guest.  Prize Winners and guests are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any other expenses and costs not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, gratuities, upgrades, meals, fuel, rental car, incidentals, entertainment, departure taxes and customs/agriculture fees.  Prize Winners and guests will be required to execute a Release of Liability prior to departure.  Prize Winners and guests must possess valid travel documents (i.e., passport and valid photo ID) in order to travel. Taxes on the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner and winner agrees to provide a W-9 Tax form.  

GENERAL CONDITIONS:  Sweepstakes is intended for participation in the United States only and shall be construed only according to United States law.  Entrants agree the Sweepstakes is governed by Minnesota law.  Prizewinners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Consent, and Liability Release or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. 

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree: (1) the SPONSOR and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, and advertising/sweepstakes agencies may use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, visual and/or audio likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes, and for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification; and (2) to release and hold harmless Border Foods Companies, Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC and the National Football League and its member teams, NFL Properties, Inc. and each of their respective advertising and sweepstakes agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:

SPONSOR and each of their respective affiliates, partners and sweepstakes and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, which may occur in the processing of the entries or distribution of prizes in this Sweepstakes or which may  limit one's ability to enter the Sweepstakes, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's handset, relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes.

SPONSOR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes should it determine, in its sole discretion, that any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.  In such case, SPONSOR will select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by SPONSOR.

SPONSOR reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be entering the Sweepstakes from locations outside the United States.  Additionally, SPONSOR reserves the right to prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.

WINNERS' NAMES & OFFICIAL RULES: The names of the winners may be obtained, by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Search for Minnesota’s Favorite Fan, 9520 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.  Requests for winners' names or Official Rules must be received by January 15, 2009.
